We redefine forest carbon removal – by correcting for reversals, we turn uncertainty into trust and make forest carbon a credible asset for serious climate action

We have worked in corporate sustainability before. We have built technology to quantify biomass and biodiversity before. The learnings were clear: the removal methodologies and the quantification technology need to improve.

That's why we founded OXO Earth Technologies. We've designed a system that systematically corrects for reversals. We work with ex post-verified, one-year reporting periods. We replace the one-year storage year after year, creating a continuous cycle of replacement and renewal to keep forest carbon safely stored. And we check that storage every year.

So companies can act on climate with integrity and without worries – and land managers can contribute to carbon removal without contractually locking up their land forever.

To quantify our carbon storage, we fuse field measurements with EO data such as Sentinel 1-2, GEDI, and 50cm/75cm high-resolution imagery and terrestrial LiDAR scans. We also build deep learning models to predict biomass based on ground truth data. On top, we monitor for reversals via remote sensing.
